Siraj Privacy Policy

Siraj is a Flutter mobile application for Quran reading, prayer times, qibla direction, tasbeeh, duas, and devotional audio playback. This policy explains what data the app uses, what stays on-device, and what may be transmitted when the app requests external content.

Data the app accesses

• Location, when you grant permission, to calculate prayer times and qibla direction.
• Notification permission to deliver local prayer reminders.
• Local app storage to save settings, bookmarks, cached content, and audio files that you choose to download for offline playback.

How the app uses data

• Prayer times and qibla calculations are performed in the app using your device location.
• Theme mode, font size, bookmarks, prayer notification preferences, and downloaded-audio state are stored locally on your device.
• The app does not require account creation and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or payment details.

Network requests and third-party content

The app fetches Quran text, page assets, and audio from third-party content providers, including services such as Quran.com, GitHub Raw, and public audio hosts referenced by the app. When your device requests this content, those providers may receive standard technical request data such as your IP address, user agent, and request metadata needed to return the content.

Siraj does not sell personal information and does not use the app for third-party advertising.

Downloads and local files

If you download devotional audio for offline listening, the files are stored inside the app's local storage area on your device. You can delete downloaded files from within the app.

Notifications

Prayer notifications are scheduled locally on the device using the calculated prayer times. You can disable notifications at any time from the app settings or from your device settings.

Your choices

• You can deny location access, but prayer-time and qibla features may be limited.
• You can deny notification permission, but prayer reminders will not appear.
• You can remove downloaded audio and cached content by deleting the app data or uninstalling the app.

Children's privacy

The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration or direct user submission.

Changes

This policy may be updated when app features or store requirements change. The latest version should be published at the privacy policy URL linked from the app stores.
